Joshimath sinking?

I don’t understand why anything that happens in Delhi/ Mumbai or even Bangalore would always be hyped in News

but that is never the case for other parts of India?

For instance:
How often you hear about the floods in Assam during monsoon?
Or
Ladakh is India’s most famous travel destination but how many are aware of the melting glacier concerns in the region?

The weirdest thing is, in such situations, not just media
but
the Environmentalist, Climate Change activists
Or Corporates/ Start-ups campaigning for Global warming — all suddenly disappear …

I may not be a person of big stature or a wealthy human
but the least I am trying to do is
Create awareness about what’s happening in Joshimath

Ironically, for a country that is “considered” a Hindu Majority;
has most often then not failed in safeguarding the Hindu religious sites, temples and their sanctity.
