After mental health, the biggest problem the world is facing is
Sleep Deprivation
or maybe, both are actually very related ..

Now, we may argue about the many factors for this problem, like:
Lifestyle, Job, Work Shifts, aimless scrolling on phone or just anxiety …

But this problem existed way before

There is a reason why in the 70’s or 80’s or maybe before,
Yoga and Meditation would sell like HOTCAKES in the US

An entire generation was sleep deprived
So they needed either drugs / sleeping pills / S3x to numb and tire their minds to fall asleep
but none of these are solutions really …

whereas Meditation looked like a good long term solution to a persisting problem

So much so, that now Indians think …
Yoga and Meditation is also something which is packed and sold from US and sent to us

Getting back to the topic,
If you think sleep is something so simple;
try not getting proper sleep for 3 days and see how your irritability, sickness, disease and zombie like mode will get activated

PS: There is a reason why, I always feel very concerned for people who work in shifts .. I tried once few years back and it sucked the life out of me ..
Not sure, how these humans do, what they do ….
