and that too, with ‘Mother knows best’ :D

This was my 32nd birthday
and touchwood, I’m no where close to mid-life crisis

I want to tell the world, from 29–33, of your time on this planet, you are going to live the best or worst time of your age.
Be very careful about it and age well

Coming back to my STORY(that’s what they call it :P )

Thanks to pandemic and WFH, being at home since march,2020; I genuinely had lost it
plus my mother’s cancer recurrence and her on-going treatment

Somewhere on the internet, I had read about a place in Nashik
The thing I liked the most, reading that article — — not just are they a wellness retreat, the architecture is similar to traditional temples and the fact that they employed local artisans to create some magic

I was not even sure, until the moment we sat in the car, that this trip could materialise (Work, Home, family drama, Mom’s health, Outside world, etc etc etc )

but It did.. !!!!!

I want to be very selfish about Viveda, I don’t want people to go there
because it will become very commercial and crowded, like any other place on planet

but It is also the place that made my 32nd birthday the best in life
and I write today, to express my gratitude

The welcome was short, simple sweet
followed by lunch — — which was delicious

I had booked a garden cottage, so I had my lunch, in that GARDEN …. !!!!! (HEAVEN :) )

Then we rested a while, followed by the Doctor’s consultation
As in the words of my doc
— She never had a session like that before, with any other guests :)

The title “When Rapunzel got out of the tower
— after two years ..!!!”
Is exactly what I told her, when we started talking and she had the best laugh

Later, I took a lil high-tea and explored the place

I even got a perfect Kerala-style spa, which I was longing for since 2019

Viveda has the best of staff
Satvik food ( I LOVE the no onion, no garlic food, its my favourite)
Greatest ever staff — from reception, to cleaning, to food (I wanted to steal the chef), the wellness instructors — spa to yoga

The day ended, with me meeting a bunch of people from different places, some even from Mumbai over a Bonfire
It was perfect, the full-moon was at its peak, the songs were amazing (thanks to a fellow guest) and we all just kept sharing our stories — — and no one was drunk :D

I loveeee to be a human library, plus I’m a scorpio, I keep secrets and take them to my grave …..

Despite sleeping quite late, the next morning, I got up at 4am

When I got bored of replying to the birthday messages, I decided to finally, get out of the bed
Freshen up, went for a walk in the early morning, with a full moon still shining and sun deciding to come up

I also, did walk barefoot on the grass, which was a supreme bliss
All this while, it felt like I was the only person on this piece of land and I was actually not scared about it

6:30am I went for an hour long Yoga
Followed by detox water, eye cleansing and spa baths

I did so much in a less than day’s time, that I hadn’t in my entire life, atleast never for myself

You can’t imagine how cranky and pissed-up I was to come back to this world’s reality
that even visiting my perfect man — Shiva at Trimbakeshwar, on our way back, couldn’t pacify me

I remember, I had asked the manager at Viveda, two things, before booking this treat for me

“It’s my birthday — kindly do not spoil my mood
and my mom’s undergoing her cancer recurrence treatment, I want something that’s safe for her”

The man supremely, over-did my expectations …..!!!!!

PS: What a trip, what a birthday
I want to go back
